CARNES, Sharon Maree

Sharon Maree Farquhar was born on the 8th of May 1968 to Bev and Reg Farquhar.  She had three siblings, Reg, Jennifer, and Mark.

Sharon was married to Paul Carnes and had two beautiful children Hayley and Ashleigh.

She attended school in Ballarat and gained employment at Commercial Union Insurance, eventually becoming CGU Insurance. Sharon also enjoyed a short stint working in the Deli at Coles Bridge Street before her death.

Sharon had various dogs over the years that she loved to show and won many prizes along the way.

In later years she had a dog called Comet who in 2012 passed his assessment and became a Pet Educator dog that Sharon would take around to Schools and Kindergartens.  The kids loved Comet and Sharon loved taking him to see them.

Sharon spent many hours with her girls of a weekend attending different cycling events with them.  They both became very good on the bike and won lots of races which made her very proud.

A life cut short.  Sharon died very suddenly and unexpectedly on the 8th of May 2017.  She is buried at the Ballarat New Cemetery in Highview Gardens Row 12 Grave 21.
